Yarra Steel are fabricators and suppliers of steel house frames for Builders or Owner Builders, offering a supply only or supply and erect service. We can build your home to lockup stage or put you in contact with local builders that can do a full contract build.
Yarra Steel is a family owned and operated business established in 1991, by David and Jenny Ainsworth, with David providing a wealth of knowledge with over 40 years building experience. Prior to forming Yarra Steel, David was a contract builder using timber frames. He made the transition to steel house frames after seeing the overwhelming advantages that they provide.

In 2002, Mick and Tracey Ainsworth, David and Jenny's eldest son and his wife, bought the business and has continued to provide the local community and beyond with the quality and assurance they had become accustomed to. Michael is a trades qualified carpenter and brings the latest techniques to Yarra Steel.
